Nuts and Bolts of Battery Tolling Agreement
Battery storage on a commercial scale has exploded in recent years. One way companies have sought to reap the benefits batteries provide without undertaking the developmental and operational risk of owning a battery is via tolling agreements. However, these agreements raise a number of risks parties should bear in mind before entering into these tolling agreements. Address some of these risks from the position of the tolling party interested in signing a battery tolling agreement with a battery developer.
