AI in Leases presentation was excellent.

Comments from the 2026 First Friday Ethics (March 2026) STUDIO WEBCAST

It was great to have a judge speaking on ethics, with specific examples of what not to do in court and things she has seen that she thinks are unprofessional. The AI content on drafting was also well balanced and informative.

The judge's presentation ("Don't Do It") especially stood out: lively, entertaining, ordered.

The Use of AI in Drafting and Negotiating Leases: Ethical Considerations and Landmines
This presentation examines how AI is transforming lease drafting and negotiation, with a focus on ethical considerations and the risks of treating title and survey review as isolated tasks rather than interconnected analyses. It highlights why only purpose-built legal AI paired with human expertise, can deliver the precision, quality, and competitive advantage required to manage trillions in real estate transactions while safeguarding client interests.
