The Complete Professional: Effective Interactions with Courts, Clients, Counsel and Colleagues
Contains material from Apr 2013
Very practical and well presented.
LOVED this speaker.
Good presentation - wish all attys would listen and follow this advice!
The reason I liked this was that the instructor recognized he was only being heard, so he told good stories and linked them to his legal points. This could be used as an instruction manual for how to do a webinar. Although, the rope-a-dope story made no sense in relation to his story of his mediation.
Maslanka is a great speaker
Very intertaining speaker. Excellent CLE.
Maslanka is awesome...as always.
this seemed to really just be common sense.
great speaker. he drew me in. very good thoughts
Kept the listener engaged
I like the info about dealing with the dysfunctional attorney. The advice to be kind to yourself
The advice was so obviously right, but so often forgotten in practice, that the taking of this course must be thought of as a welcome reminder of all that is good, and therefore usually effective, in the way successful people deal with others. Otherwise, however, it has little do with any particular ethical problems commonly encountered by lawyers in their practice.
Very good information
The "war stories" were the best part illustrating challenging concepts in practice.
This material is hard to present without sanctimony and this was done well.
