Session 1: Clean Air Act Regulatory Developments - Developments in major challenges to federal regulations under the Clean Air Act, including the Cross State Air Pollution Rule and EPA's rules that impose greenhouse gas permitting requirements on stationary sources. EPA's ongoing development of major rules, such as new regulations for greenhouse gas emissions from power plants, is also discussed.
 
Session 2: Carbon Capture and Sequestration - Carbon capture and sequestration (CCS) is often touted by its proponents as the solution to global warming and decried by its detractors as an economically unfeasible panacea. A survey of the existing technology for CCS as well as the current legal regime for implementing CCS projects.
