Session 1: ​The Ethics of Redacting Medical Records from Plaintiff’s and Defendant’s Perspective - Do HIPAA, TRE 509, and TRE 510, and other rules allow (or mandate) that attorneys shield medical records from discovery? If so, by what process?

Session 2: Spinal Complications of Car Crashes: The Good, The Bad, The Ugly, and The Confusing Review common injuries of the spine caused by motor vehicle collisions, including current and appropriate acute assessment and treatment, as well as rehabilitation strategies and long-term considerations and challenges.

Session 3: Presenting and Crossing Doctors - Hear tips for deposing the treating doctors and the testifiers.

Session 4: Subrogation and Liens Examine the ever-changing rules regarding Medicare, Medicaid, ERISA, workers' comp, hospital liens, state employees, local employees, and disability plans. Focus on safeguards created by a state law which protects first party and portions of third-party recoveries from many insured plans.
