Session 1: Legislative Response to Winter Storm Uri - Recap the wide range of legislation passed by the Texas Legislature during the 2021 Legislative Session in response to the power outages during Winter Storm Uri. Among the topics to be addressed will be the several changes to the Texas Utility Code passed by the legislature instructing reforms at both the PUCT and ERCOT, as well as subsequent directives from the Governor stemming from those reforms and related topics being debated among ERCOT market participants.  

Session 2: Restoring Trust - Winter storm Uri was a tragic and damaging event, affecting millions of Texans and prompted the need for change at ERCOT. Hear about ERCOT's promise to the people of Texas moving forward. The promise is to: Cooperate and communicate thoughtfully and purposefully through multiple channels, ensure reliability and restore trust and confidence in ERCOT, evaluate technical processes within ERCOT and then innovate through dialog.

Session 3: Lessons Learned from the Past Year: Force Majeure in the Wake of Uri - Winter Storm Uri caused unprecedented disruptions in gas and power supply. Discuss ensuing litigation and arguments on both sides arising from failure to provide gas and power under industry agreements.
