The Consequences of COVID on Response and Filing Deadlines with USCIS  (Nov 2020)

USCIS expanded the flexibility for responding to USCIS requests and notices that were issued on or after March 1st. While this increased flexibility was well-intentioned, it has not addressed many of the issues facing immigrants in obtaining or maintaining status during COVID. Explore the hurdles faced in responding to Requests for Evidence, Notices of Intent to Deny, Notices of Intent to Revoke, Notices of Intent to Terminate and in filing I-290B motions and appeals while panelists provide practical advice on overcoming these hurdles.
