The ADA at 30: Lessons from the Pandemic (Mar 2021)
Join Brian East as he explores: The Americans with Disabilities Act, “the world’s first comprehensive declaration of equality for people with disabilities,” which turned thirty during a worldwide pandemic that has hit individuals with disabilities particularly hard. This presentation will give an overview of the breadth of the ADA, discuss how it can help (and in some cases has helped) lessen the adverse impact of the pandemic, and point out areas that need a renewed focus.
