What was the overall quality of the course (presentation, materials, and technical delivery)?
Rate the overall teaching effectiveness and presentation skills of faculty for the course.
How would you rate the value of the materials provided as part of the course?

Excellent program. One comment is it seems the last session (Federal Circuit Judicial Panel) could have been an ethics CLE session.

The China presentation (second half) was quite informative. In the AI presentation I would have liked to see some more recent examples of patents that incorporate AI; as an experienced practitioner I'm more interested in real-world examples as opposed to rote case law or citations.

Excellent topics and presenters. The only issue was that after I acknowledged watching in the middle of a presentation the audio from the previous topic started (very weird).

Arthrex: Where Are We Now? (Apr 2021)

In Arthrex, Inc. v. Smith & Nephew, Inc., the Supreme Court will decide the constitutionality of the PTAB, and whether the APJs in the PTAB are principal officers who must be appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate. If they are, their appointment by the Director of the USPTO is unconstitutional and the Supreme Court will decide if the Federal Circuit properly remedied this constitutional defect by severing the APJ job-security protections, and thereby converting them into inferior officers. Explore this case and the oral argument, which is being held on March 1.
