Session 1: Evaluating Scientific Evidence for Hair and Drug Testing - Join Sol Bobst as he explores the factors important in evaluating scientific evidence related to drug testing in hair. This CLE is directly relevant to lawyers practicing in family law relating to evidence of drug use and child custody, employment law for workplace testing, and some circumstances of criminal defense law if hair is used as a medium for evidence of prior use.

Session 2: Persuading with Style - In legal writing, exaggeration, hyperbole, and sarcasm don’t persuade, and neither do bold italics, ALL-CAPS, or exclamation marks!!! Legal writers have more effective tools.  Learn sentence- and word-level writing techniques ranging from punctuation to classical rhetoric that legal writers can easily add to their tools for persuasive writing.

Session 3: Attorney Wellness: Speaking Up, Reaching Out - Mental health issues are taboo discussions at the workplace, yet when attorneys consider suicide, it's often a result of work-related stress. Explore real-world tips and information on how to spot a mental health crisis in someone you work with, and what to do once you are aware of a problem.
