I especially appreciated the sessions on ethics and the one on cybersecurity

I felt like there was too much on working during COVID, when the reality is we have all been living through that and there isn't much in the way of substance that we need. In general, I prefer the substance heavy presentations, such as the Commissioners Update, the Workers Compensation Presentation, the Title IX presentation, and the Ransomware presentation (something I knew very little about and benefited greatly from). I was very frustrated by the presentation "Race, Repetition, and Reform," which came across very accusatory yet lacking real legal substance or concrete information, yet on a topic that school lawyers could benefit--those presenters should not be invited to present again. I had some technical difficulties with the online presentation working consistently, which caused some frustration. The actual materials like the papers were very good.

Great job, as usual.

Some timely topics and excellent speakers.

Excellent presentations and presenters. Timely topics

It's Zoom's World, We're Just Living in It: Confidentiality and Ethics in Video Conferencing (Mar 2021)

The recent increased reliance on video conferencing has raised a host of questions many of us hadn't thought of before, such as: What ethical obligations do I owe to clients when video conferencing? How do I assure attorney-client confidentiality and confidentiality of student information? What on earth is Zoombombing? This ethics-based presentation addresses those questions and more.
