In this program, Omni Bridgeway’s resident experts will address special considerations for practitioners considering litigation funding across four different practice areas:
 

Intellectual Property: Sarah Tsou will address how Omni selects IP cases for investment and unique pricing and deal structures for IP cases.
International Arbitration: Nilufar Hossain will discuss why litigation funding is ideal for international arbitration disputes including the benefits of working with an experienced arbitration funder like Omni Bridgeway.
Bankruptcy: Ken Epstein will cover how litigation funding works in bankruptcy and address unique ethical issues related to bankruptcy funding. He will also explain risk sharing arrangements available to insolvent parties working with a funder and explore several case studies as examples.
Appeals: Amy Geise will explain how litigation funding differs in the appellate context, focusing on deal structure, risk profile, and pricing.

MCLE credit is presented based on a 60-minute credit hour.
